Release notes
What's new in ProPost
Every release, newest first: new features, improvements and fixes.
- v0.10.2Latest
v0.10.2
Clearer checkout
- Your phone number comes first, and it's obvious. When the payment page needs a phone number, Plans & billing now shows it as a labelled first step above the plans, with a short note on why it's needed.
- No more greyed-out Upgrade button. If you choose a plan before entering your number, ProPost points you to the field and tells you what to do instead of leaving the button disabled.
- The same applies when buying credit packs.
- v0.10.1
v0.10.1
Scheduled posts when a plan ends
- You're told when a post is held. If your plan ends and a scheduled post can no longer go out on a connected channel, you get a notification instead of finding out later.
- Nothing goes out late without you. When you renew, held posts whose time has passed go back to Approved, so you can publish them or pick a new time. Posts still ahead of their time go back on the schedule automatically.
- Warning ahead of time. If posts are scheduled for after your plan ends, a banner tells you how many, so you can renew first.
Images
- Click any post image to see it full size, uncropped: on the post page, in the calendar preview and in channel previews.
Fixes and polish
- Clearer error pages, and pages that don't exist now return a proper "not found".
- Sign-in has its own clean page again, and the website navigation is simpler.
- Tidier icons and wording across the app, in English and French.
- v0.10.0
New home, voices per channel and a much bigger MCP
New home: www.propost-ai.com
- ProPost now lives at www.propost-ai.com. The old address redirects automatically.
- Better search and sharing: every public page has its own title and description in English and French, a sitemap, and a new link preview with our current logo.
Voices for every channel
- Each channel writes in its own voice. Pick a persona per channel in Settings → Channels; your default voice is used everywhere else.
- Personas have their own writing samples, so a brand page and your personal profile can sound different.
- Drafts for several channels are written once per voice; channels sharing a voice share a draft, condensed for each network.
AI assistants can do much more
- Performance: posts now come with their engagement numbers, and assistants can read a channel's followers and totals for the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
- New tools: manage voices and set a channel's voice, check whether a post is ready, suggest the best times to post, rewrite a post, suggest hashtags or write them into the post, copy a post to another channel, and manage your idea bank.
- Images: assistants can attach an image to a post: a graphic they design, an image they send, or one from a public link.
- Your account only: a connected assistant can only ever reach the account that approved it, and never sees contacts, messages, payment details or passwords.
- Scheduling and publishing no longer ask for confirmation in AI assistants; the level you choose for each connection decides what an assistant may do.
Devices
- Settings → Devices shows every browser and phone where you're signed in, with its approximate location and last activity. Sign any of them out, or all the others at once.
- Devices that receive notifications are listed too, and can be removed.
Also new
- What's new page with every release, and the same navigation and footer across the website.
- Privacy-friendly page analytics with no cookies.
- v0.9.0
Faster-feeling app, arrangeable channels, Integrations
Faster, with feedback on every click
- Pages load faster. The side menu now stays in place as you move around instead of reloading with every page, so navigating does far less work.
- You always see your click was taken. A slim bar runs along the top as soon as you click a link, the menu item you clicked shows a small spinner, and buttons press in and show when they're busy.
- Page skeletons. Every dashboard section and settings page shows its layout straight away, shaped like the real page, while the data loads.
- New loader. On first load, a ribbon draws the ProPost logo, shifting from violet to our teal before the logo fills in. With reduced motion turned on, it's a calm, still logo.
Arrange your channels
- Reorder channels in the side menu. Drag the handle that appears on hover, or use the arrow keys. On phones, open Channels and tap Reorder.
- Collapse the channels you use less. Your order and collapsed channels are saved to your account and follow you to every device.
Integrations
- New Integrations link in the side menu.
- Settings → Integrations (formerly AI assistants) now has tabs: AI assistants, API keys and Automation, the last for workflow automation tools.
Security
- Registering an MCP client no longer writes to the database, and the public sign-in endpoints are rate-limited per IP.
- v0.8.0
Connect AI assistants (MCP)
AI assistants and any MCP-compatible client can now draft, schedule and publish your posts through ProPost. Setup guide: https://www.propost-ai.com/mcp
- Pro and Premium. The plan is checked on every request; an expired plan stops the connection until it's renewed.
- You choose how far it may go when you connect: Drafts only, Schedule, or Full autopilot. Enforced by the server on every call; change it or disconnect in Settings → AI assistants.
- All your limits apply: monthly AI drafts, hourly AI and request limits, the weekly scheduling cap, each network's character limit and required media, your channel allowance.
- Secure sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, or a personal API key for header-based clients. Tokens are stored only as hashes and expire after an hour; every action is in your activity log.
Every LinkedIn channel has its own data
- The profile tools (About text and review, optimizer targets, keyword gap, account stats, monthly report, data import) are now kept per LinkedIn channel, instead of every channel showing the first one's.
- Every LinkedIn channel now shows its own stats, straight from the network. With two accounts on one network, totals are summed from each account's own posts, on the profile and the Insights page.
Editor
- Bold and italic apply letter by letter: bolding a partly italic phrase keeps the italic.
- Accented letters (é, è, à, ç) are styled too, so French words come out fully bold.
- Hashtags, mentions and links stay plain so they keep working; undo works after formatting.
Privacy
- Updated privacy policy (EN/FR): the full list of processors, connected channels and AI assistants, and logs kept for 12 months.
- Account deletion and data export now cover AI assistant connections and keys; expired sign-in tokens and old logs are deleted automatically.
- v0.7.0
Publish on time, one clock per user
Publish on time
- Every scheduled post gets its own timer and goes out at the exact minute, instead of waiting for the daily run.
- A post whose connection needs reconnecting fails right away with a push notification, instead of retrying silently.
- Posts more than a day past their time are marked failed by a daily sweep.
One clock per user
- Every date shown or entered (calendar, queue, pickers, insights, reminder emails) uses the time zone from the user's profile, formatted in the app language.
- Profiles still on UTC adopt the browser's zone automatically unless the user chose one.
- Changing the zone also updates every connected channel.
LinkedIn reconnects
- A banner on every page (and a dialog when posts are blocked) asks users to reconnect LinkedIn when it's rejected, expired or about to expire.
- The daily run sends one push and one email per problem.
- On Pro and Premium, LinkedIn connects through our publishing integration, so it no longer expires every 60 days. It doesn't count toward your channel allowance, and existing posts move over automatically.
- Free plans keep the direct LinkedIn connection.
Fixes
- "Channels" in the account menu opens Settings → Channels.
- The email logo now loads everywhere, including in mail clients.
- v0.6.0
Multi-channel posting and network-aware drafts
Post to the channels you choose, with drafts written for each network, plus a new look.
Highlights
- New post per channel: every channel in the sidebar (and a channel's queue) has a New post link that opens the composer on it.
- One post, several channels: the composer's Post to chips take several channels at once. One generation is written for the longest-form network picked, with a linked copy for each other channel condensed to its limit. The post page lists the linked copies and can schedule them all at the same time.
- Drafts written for their network: the writer knows whether it's writing a LinkedIn post, a post on X, an Instagram caption or a Google Business update, and how long it should be, instead of trimming a LinkedIn post to fit.
- Delete drafts and channels: draft, approved and scheduled posts have a delete button in the lists. Every channel can be disconnected, including LinkedIn connected directly. A removed channel's posts never move to another network: scheduled ones return to drafts and ask for a new channel.
- Channel profiles show the real account: each connected channel shows its own bio (LinkedIn headlines and page descriptions) and follower count, refreshed daily, instead of the same ProPost bio everywhere.
- New logo: the ProPost mark is redrawn, with every icon size (favicons, iOS, Android maskable, email) rendered from one SVG. The landing page shows the supported networks as a stack of their logos.
Plans and pricing
- Free plan: 1 channel (was 2). Existing channels are kept.
- WhatsApp: Meta's per-message fees are converted at the cheapest credit pack's rate, so the margin holds on bulk credits.
- v0.5.0
Real-time updates, automations and Premium add-ons
Real-time updates, automations, and the Premium add-ons: credits, ads and WhatsApp Business.
Highlights
- Real-time updates: a signed webhook keeps posts, channel health and inbox counts current, with push notifications for new comments, messages and reviews.
- Deeper engagement: inbox mentions, deeper per-channel insights, per-post performance and network-specific post options.
- Comment automations: when a comment contains a keyword, reply by DM (or publicly where the network has no DMs), with run logs.
- Google Business listing: edit hours, attributes, photos and links.
- Credits wallet (Premium): prepaid packs bought through the usual checkout. Every paid action is charged up front and refunded automatically if it fails.
- Ads (Premium): link a channel's ad account, boost published posts, and pause, cancel or follow spend.
- WhatsApp Business (Premium):
- Connect a number through Meta's sign-up. It keeps working in the WhatsApp Business app.
- Chat with customers inside the 24-hour window.
- Send approved templates to up to 200 numbers.
- Submit new templates for review and edit the business profile.
Pricing notes
- Template sends include Meta's per-message fee for each recipient's country and category (Meta rate card effective 2026-10-01), shown before sending. Replies cost 1 credit, plus Meta's rate once a number passes 1,000 replies in a month.
- Set
WHATSAPP_META_FEES=customeronce it's confirmed that Meta bills the customer's own WhatsApp account; templates then cost only ProPost's flat fee.
- v0.4.0
One-step connections and per-channel engagement
Channels connect in one step, and each channel gets its own engagement tools.
Highlights
- One-step connections: one sign-in flow for LinkedIn, X, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and Google Business Profile, with video uploads.
- Per-channel tools: insights, inbox (comments and DMs), reviews, contacts and X radar.
- Engagement sync: post likes, comments and shares come back from the networks.
- Editor: a formatting toolbar in the post editor.
- Admin dashboard: overview, usage, revenue and logs views.
- Emails share one branded layout with the real logo.
- Text generation runs on Qwen 3.7 Flash on every plan.
Fixes
- Avatars fall back to initials when a photo link has expired.
- v0.3.0
Multi-channel scheduler
ProPost becomes a multi-channel scheduler.
Highlights
- New app shell built around scheduling, with each channel's tools grouped under it and a clear "Add channel" row.
- New channels: Mastodon, Bluesky, Facebook Pages, Instagram, TikTok, X and Threads, with a channel-aware publisher.
- Redesigned public pages with a 3D product scene, and landing copy that names every supported network.
- Daily drafts opt-in, with an automatic first draft.
- Plans: unused time carries over when switching paid plans; free accounts can connect two channels and schedule 2 posts a week, on cheaper models.
Fixes
- Plan and payment handling fixes.
- v0.2.0
ProPost brand, new composer and new payments
The ProPost brand, a rebuilt composer and a second payment provider.
Highlights
- ProPost brand across the app, with a new landing page (scroll reveals, showcase, pricing toggle).
- Composer rebuilt: post-type taxonomy, URL-to-post, idea-to-post and a humanizer.
- Guided product tour that starts on its own for new accounts.
- Better images: post images on Nano Banana Pro, generated well the first time.
- Free tier made permanent at 5 drafts a month, with quotas that actually reset.
- New payment options for subscriptions, an upbeat checkout-return page and real admin payment views.
- Admin gets its own shell, with pagination.
Fixes and security
- Fixed LinkedIn OAuth; the app defaults to light mode.
- Closed an open redirect in the LinkedIn return path.
- Full security audit: LinkedIn debug endpoint restricted to admins, DNS-rebinding gap closed.
- v0.1.0
LinkedIn AI ghostwriter
The first version of ProPost: an AI ghostwriter that researches, writes and publishes LinkedIn posts.
Highlights
- AI writing pipeline: research-then-write orchestration that drafts posts in your voice.
- LinkedIn publishing: OAuth connection, scheduled publishing and profile sync.
- Dashboard: drafts queue, calendar, analytics and post detail.
- Profile tools: profile optimizer and account stats.
- Contacts and radar: a personal CRM, and an opportunity radar for tracked companies and keywords.
- LinkedIn data import: full export import (ZIP or files) with hardened parsing, persona suggestions, and Connections, Following and Reviews views.
- Accounts: Google and LinkedIn sign-in, onboarding wizard, personas, subscription billing, push and email notifications.
- English and French throughout, plus Open Graph metadata.
