Schedule Pinterest Pins with descriptions in your own style

On Pinterest, people search and save ideas they will act on later. ProPost writes Pin titles and descriptions that sound like you, links them to your page, and publishes them to your board on schedule.

What ProPost does for Pinterest

ProPost writes your Pinterest posts in your own style, checks them against Pinterest's limits as you type, and publishes them at the time you pick. Here is what that looks like in practice.

1

Titles and descriptions that help people find you

ProPost drafts the description from your style profile, within 500 characters. The first line becomes the Pin title unless you write your own.

2

A link to where the idea continues

Add a destination link to each Pin: the article, product or page people land on when they tap it.

3

Image or video, ready to pin

Every Pin needs a visual. Upload your own image or video, or generate an image that matches the description.

4

Your board, chosen once

When you connect Pinterest you pick the board ProPost publishes to. Analytics and boosting a published Pin are available for accounts connected through our publishing integration.

Built in for Pinterest

  • Video publishing
  • Pin title and destination link

Pinterest at a glance

Read from the same rules ProPost uses to check your posts, so this table always matches what the app enforces.

ProPost attaches one image or one video to each post. Video, first comments, threads and the other per-network options work on accounts connected through our publishing integration, which is part of the paid plans. The composer warns you before a post goes over a limit.

Tips for posting on Pinterest

General, well-established advice. Your own analytics will tell you what works best for your audience.

  1. Think of Pinterest as a search engineDescribe the Pin with the words someone would search for when looking for that idea. Clear beats clever.
  2. Use tall, readable visualsVertical images take up more room in the feed. A short text overlay can say what the Pin is about at a glance.
  3. Make the link worth the tapSend people to a page that delivers what the Pin promises, ideally the exact recipe, guide or product shown.
  4. Plan ahead for seasonsPeople often look for seasonal ideas well before the date. Schedule seasonal Pins early rather than on the day.
  5. Pin regularlyA steady flow of fresh Pins works better than uploading a large batch once and stopping.

Schedule Pinterest posts in three steps

  1. 1

    Connect your account

Add your Pinterest account from Settings, in the Channels section. It takes a few clicks, and you can disconnect it whenever you like.

  2. 2

    Write in your style

Give ProPost an idea, a topic or a link. It drafts the post in your voice, sized for Pinterest, and you change anything you want.

  3. 3

    Pick a time

Choose an exact date and time, or add the post to your queue. ProPost publishes it then, and your calendar shows everything that is planned.

Prefer to work from your AI assistant?

ProPost works with AI assistants over MCP. Ask yours to draft a Pinterest post, fit it to the limits and schedule it. You decide what gets published: each connection can be limited to drafts, to scheduling, or allowed to publish.

Frequently asked questions

Can ProPost publish Pins automatically?

Yes. Once Pinterest is connected, scheduled Pins are published to the board you chose, at the time you set.

Can I add a link and a title to a Pin?

Yes. Each Pin can have a title and a destination link. Without a title, the first line of the description is used.

Can I post a Pin without an image?

No. A Pin is a visual: it needs an image or a video, and ProPost checks for one before publishing.

How long can a Pin description be?

Up to 500 characters. ProPost counts as you type and can shorten a description to fit.

Can I remove a Pin from ProPost?

Yes. You can remove a published Pin from Pinterest without leaving ProPost.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan includes 1 connected channel, 5 AI drafts a month and up to 2 scheduled posts a week, with no credit card. Paid plans add more channels, more drafts, unlimited scheduling and our publishing integration for video and the per-network options.
